Vegas and Lance...AWESOME!

So this weekend was super fun! First off- Me, Meg, and Kirstin went to Las Vegas to shop and see Wanda Sykes. We had a blast. We always enjoy a good shopping trip and Wanda was absolutely hilarious. All of us were crying from laughing so hard. Good news though, I managed to not pee my pants! :) Whew! We came home Sunday and I am usually bummed to come home from such a fun trip, but I wasn't this time because..... LANCE WAS HOME!!!!!!!! Elder Lance Armstrong returned from serving a mission in Guadalajara Mexico on Saturday August 9, 2008. I got to see him on Sunday and it was so awesome to see him. I missed him so so so much. I can't wait to re-live some of our old adventures and for new ones to begin!

Elder Armstrong (aka Lance) is FINALLY home

VEGAS BABY!!!!!

Sawyer, Maggie, and Ellie

So, I don't even know where to begin about these guys. I can't even begin to explain how much they mean to me. They are seriously the funniest and sweetest kids I have ever met. Monkey aka Ellie, Princess Loo aka Maggie and Sawyer are awesome! I watched Sawyer for the first time when he was 2 weeks old and I have been their babysitter ever since. Every time I see them I get so excited and I get the biggest smile ever! They make me so excited to have kids. If my kids turn out half as good as they are I would be stoked. There are certain things that I love about all of them.
Sawyer- My little peace keeper. He hates to see people sad and is always happy himself. He is a little ball of energy and his smile just lights up the room.

Maggie- She is a firecracker. She has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know, but she is always tough and isn't afraid to stand up for herself or her siblings.
Ellie- She is hilarious. Even though she is only two she can make me laugh harder than just about anyone. She is so happy all of the time and is a friend to everyone she meets. She falls in love with people and they just stick with her forever. Take the Rigby's and Zac for example. She is in love with them. Every time I see her she asks if we can go see Kyle and always asks how much longer until Zac is home.
These guys melt my heart. I soak up every second that I have with them. I can't believe how big they are getting. The other night I totally had a parent moment when I was tucking them into bed because I realized that they aren't going to be little forever. I wouldn't trade them for the world. They are the BEST!!!!!!!!

My birthday and Pioneer Day.

So this week just happens to be one of my most favorite months of the year because it has my birthday and pioneer day within two days of each other. My birthday this year was way fun. I went to the Bee's game on my actual birthday with a bunch of friends and then we got ice cream and played at a park. Then the next day my closest friends and I went to dinner at porcupine. It was basically my dream birthday complete with a cake that looked like a Tiffany box. What more could a girl ask for? :)Then the next day was the 24th of July which was a blast! Michael and I went up to Park City to meet up with Scott and Marianne. We hung out at the lodge for a little bit and played some pool and stuff and then we did my most favorite thing in the world... SHOPPING! With Scott and Michael even the most simple of shopping trips turned into a hilarious adventure. When we came down from the canyon Marianne had to head back to Provo so Scott, Michael and I met up with Meagan to have a fire, make smores and watch fireworks. It was so much fun because smores and fireworks are two of my most favorite things! Of course we end up playing a mean game of chubby bunny before we called it a night. And last but not least, the Rigby's took me to dinner for mine and Lisa's birthday on Saturday. It was amazing! The food and the people I was with couldn't be better! The Rigby's are seriously one of the best families I know! They always know how to make me smile and I always have a good time with them. This was one of the best weeks that I have had in a long time! :)
